Ephraim Recovery Mission specifics:

A Utah Residential Vocational and Life Skills Program (UT Code 13-53) centered on the teachings of Jesus, individual work, and group accountability, with no financial cost to participants.

18 months living and working full time with other members in the program

12 step program centered on Jesus Christ:  Drug/Alcohol and life recovery, by giving their lives to Jesus Christ and serving each other and communities of Sanpete County.

Therapeutic Community—members build it together, recover together, lift each other, hold each other accountable, and find Christ together.  The non-profit, itself, does not provide services by licensed professionals for mental health or addiction treatment; however, members will be connected to outpatient professional counseling or medical services available in the community.

There is no financial cost for the members in the program—each is expected to work full-time in a non-profit owned business.  They receive no paycheck.  All living expenses are provided.  Members who graduate will receive a $6000 scholarship for approved expenses to help transition to independent life.  Graduates may choose to stay hired on and rent transitional housing apartments.

Vocational Training—honest work is an essential component to addiction recovery.   Members are expected to work on day one.  After proving themselves reliable and willing to receive direction and feedback, members will gain opportunities in a skilled vocation such as construction, HVAC, welding, or machine operations, either at a non-profit owned company or through industry partnerships in the community.  Snow College in Ephraim also provides courses in vocational programs that may be used for the benefit of members and the non-profit.

Members are expected to attend group meetings daily and any local church on Sundays.

Members can qualify for support to complete GED and probation requirements.

Personal self-reliance and financial classes will also be available in the last months of the program.

Family engagement—online family support groups as well as weekly devotionals that families may attend if members have qualified for family visitors.

The mission does not accept any government money or insurance.
